The Company is looking for a dynamic and result oriented individual to maintain all types of electrical equipment within the company with particular focus on machinery key in newspaper production.

Key Responsibilities

•   Install new systems and decommission old system as required
•   Carry out regular maintenance of equipment to ensure optimum running
•   Repair machinery as and when required in response to call out
•   Contribute to the development of annual maintenance plans
•   Supervise and co-ordinate activities of Technical assistants

Skills/ Competencies Required

•   Knowledge of circuit boards,processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including Windows 2003 server, Apple OSX, Windows XP and Windows 7
•   Strong communication skills (written and Verbal)
•   Keen eye for detail
•   Flexible attitude to working arrangements
•   Must be team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty
•   Ability to work to strict deadlines with minimum supervision
•   Proven ability to manage people and resources
•   Strong computers literacy skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Good first Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience.

OR

•   HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a minimum 5 years relevant work experience
