IT Jobs in Ghana - A leading Oil & Gas Company is looking for qualified candidates for the above position based in Accra.
Main Responsibilities:
• To ensure functioning of all company systems, network and telephony, monitoring the day-to-day system activities, producing reports when required
• Co-ordinate the activity of the external contractors that provide support for the previous point
• Provide the necessary support to the different business areas, identifying the more appropriate ICT solutions in accordance with the guidelines and standard received from Head Office
• Elaborate the ICT budget providing the required details in terms of project and service activities
• Evaluate, examine and propose, in close collaboration with Users and in accordance with Head Office standard and guidelines, new software packages for potential use of the Company
• Ensure, as much as possible, that all agreed Company standards for security and data protection, software and hardware are adhered to
• Keep the system software and other software for common use, together with the related documentation, updated
• Ensure that Company hardware and software specification and standards conform to the Corporate ones
• Ensure activities related to system improvements planning and optimization
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience of about 5 years in Information Technology
• Good command of both written and spoken English
