The Government of Ghana established a factory at Komenda in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) District of the Central Region in the 1960s to produce sugar and its related products for both local and international markets. The factory was the defunct Komenda Sugar Factory Limited. The company after operating for some years was closed down due to some technical and operational challenges.

As part of efforts to revive the factory, the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Trade and Industry intends to engage well-meaning intelligent, competent, self-motivated and responsible individuals in the management of the New Komenda Sugar Factory when it becomes operational later in the year.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Industrial Trade Certificate in Mechanical Eng.. having five years experience in maintenance of cane preparation units, milling machinery and equipments accessones etc. of Modern Food Processing Industry preferably in Sugar Factory mills or similar post.
