ORE Sample Preparation Supervisor

On any AMSG mine site in Ghana or any other site where the company operates

Qualification And Experience

. Must have tertiary laboratory technician qualifications or tertiary chemistry qualifications with experience in mining laboratory environment.
. Must have knowledge of the use of jaw crushers, riffle splitters, LM2 and LM5 pulverizes or similar equipment
. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in ore sample preparation in a mining laboratory environment or similar.
. Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience in a supervisory role.

Key Duties

. The primary purpose of this role is the responsibility for efficient day to day and effective supervision of ore sample flows through the sample preparation area, to ensure maximum sample handling efficiency while maintaining a high standard of quality
. Accurate and timely dispatch of properly prepared and recorded ore samples.

Capabilities

. The applicant must have the ability to communicate in  both written and verbal manner at all levels and have a good command of the English language. A working knowledge of the French language will be well regarded.
. Should be a safety  conscious person
. Must have valid Ghanaian & International Driver's Licenses.
. Be able to carry out assigned job with little or no supervision.
. Be computer literate
