The company has emerged as a major real estate player in the luxury property development industry in Ghana, and seeks the right candidates to join its growing team:- Senior Project Manager (SPM)

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the CPO, the senior project manager will assist in the planning, monitoring and delivering of all projects undertaken by the company.

Role Responsibilities

•   Assist the CPO in planning resources needed to deliver on construction projects including labor, materials, capital and permit (where necessary)
•   Assist with the preparation of construction project plan and budget
•   Ensure subcontractors and suppliers work effectively in line with project goals and to obtain best price and execution
•   Act as second pair of eyes to CPO in overseeing projects from start to finish within desired quality, time, budget and contingencies
•   Actively assemble site workers and assist with supervision to ensure project goals and policies including health & safety issues are strictly adhered to
•   Provide periodic reports to management on progress of projects
•   Assist with planning and implementing training programs for construction workers in area such as health & safety and construction best practices to ensure overall high work quality and health and safety.

Qualification Required & Experience

Background, Skills & Attributes

•   University Degree preferably with Master's Degree in Civil engineering, Architecture, Project Management or related field
•   At least 5 years business experience in managing projects in the real estates sector
•   Professional qualification in construction, project management or related field is highly desirable
•   Demonstrate track record in planning, monitoring and delivering on projects to time and budget is an advantage
•   Strong communication skills and be able to communicate with all levels of personnel
•   An active interest in real estate projects
•   Ability to mentor team members and work cordially with workers across different levels
•   Read to travel when needed
