The Judicial Service of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following vacant positions in the Judicial Service Clinic at the Law Court Complex

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

•   Processes, analysis, interprets and reports results of laboratory tests on specimens received in the laboratory to support clinical technical services;
•   Performs tests and procedures as laid down in standard operating procedures (SOPs);
•   Undertakes analytical tasks within tight turnaround times and assists junior laboratory staff;
•   Accurately and safely uses and carries out routine maintenance and performance checks on equipment with minimal supervision and reports faults to supervisor;
•   Follows prescribed procedures and exercises care in maintaining laboratory equipment and facilities;
•   Uses laboratory computer system to:
•   Input requests and match patient records as appropriate
•   Input results and generate printed reports
•   Generate worksheet (lists)
•   Carries out appropriate quality checks as required and completes quality record sheets as required.
•   Undertakes any other duties or responsibilities as may be directed by the head of the Clinic.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND / Degree in laboratory technology or its equivalent
•   Must be Computer literate in Microsoft Word & Excel
•   Must have good oral and written communication skills
•   Must have completed National Service
•   Minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience
