Job Vacancy For Supervisor / Trainer – Auto Electrician (CU)
Abosso Goldfields Limited, a subsidiary of Gold Fields Limited is a World-class operation, consistion of 25 Mtpa open pit-mininh operations and a 5.2 Mtpa CIL metallurgical plant. The mine can be located in the tropical climate of the Western Region of Ghana. It is ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificated and has a current Life of Mine expectancy to year 2019 and beyound.
Job Tile: Supervisor / Trainer - Auto Electrician (CU)
Purpose Of The Job:-
The company is seeking to employ the service of a competent Auto Electrical Supervisor / Trainer who will be responsible for the supervision of auto electrical work on heavy mining equipment and ensure that the company has the necessary competent personnel to maximize efficiency as well as position itself for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
. Review role descriptions of auto electricians and do a person-job-match
. Review current role analysis and skills audit for assigned staff and identify talent gaps.
. Map gaps against design solutions to facilitate and monitor competency training.
. Review and evaluate the effectiveness of skills development program and show a monthly report of progress against plan and corrective actions taken if there are deviations.
. Perform skills audit to determine future talent needs and assist to identify and recruit best potential talent.
. Identify successors for succession plan based on future talent requirements.
. Provide support to successors in terms of coaching, mentor-ship and other relevant support structures and record same for reporting purposes.
. Review and evaluate effectiveness of succession planning interventions and report same on monthly basis to the HME Manager.
. Pre-empt emerging changes in the labor market and regulatory dynamics and advise the discipline development committee regarding necessary actions.
. Entrench behavior, company values and actions in support of business culture ensure that effective engineering standards and procedures are developed and implemented in compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements.
Key Requirements
. Relevant Tertiary qualification or trade certificate
. Ten (10) years working experience on caterpillar, Liebherr and Pantera equipment
. Well developed oral and written communication skills
. Working knowledge of computerize maintenance management system (SAP)
. A valid Ghanaian driver's license.
. A result-orientated attitude
. Medical fitness for the position and environment.
It will be highly advantageous if applicant has:
. Operation and management of a gyratory crusher and a secondary crushing plant
. Operation and management of SAF mill/Ball mill/Pebble crushing comminution circuit
. Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
. Worked on a remote mine site and resided in a camp environment.
