USAID/Ghana is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to join the Tamale Field Office (TFO) as Project Management Specialist - Satellite Office Coordinator.
The incumbent is responsible for overseeing all USAID funded activities in the northern region of Ghana.
• He/she plays a decisive role in the successful implementation and oversight of the Ghana Field Office program by managing the overall operations of the TFO and through providing guidance, advice, design and support with respect to program implementation.
• The incumbent is permanently stationed in Tamale, with regular travel throughout the Northern Region and to Accra
Salary Range: GH¢32,928 - GH¢49,388 per annum (depending on qualification and experience)
Qualification Required & Experience
Education & Prior Work Experience:
• The position requires a Master's degree in Social Sciences or Literature.
• Requires a minimum of Seven years of progressively responsible professional-level experience including six (6) years in development assistance.
• At least three years should be in the agriculture, health or education sectors.
• Prior experience in project design, implementation, and usage of complex IT systems for monitoring and evaluation of projects and results/budget tracking and documentation is desired
