Job Vacancy For Director General/Executive Director At The Anglican Church



Job Description

1) The Director General is the Chief Executive Officer of the national secretariat, responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation of programmes and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities of the secretariat.
2) He/she is accountable to the Board of Directors, the Bishops of the Anglican Church of Ghana and Partners.
3) His/her responsibilities also include:

•   Plan strategies for implementation and monitoring of the strategic plan activities of the Internal Province of Ghana
•   Fundraising for programmes
•   Build secretariat's image by collaborating with governmental and non-governmental, organisations and institutions.
•   Participate in formulating and administering Secretariat policies.
•   Review and analyse activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine the secretariat progress toward its stated goals and objectives.
•   Do other jobs as and when the Board deems fit in the interest of the Church

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Master's degree or equivalent with six (6) years working experience.
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Good leadership and strong Interpersonal relationship skills.
•   Should possess excellent knowledge and skills in project proposal and report writing.
•   Proven ability to be a good team player and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required
•   Demonstrated ability to organise, plan, and carry out activities independently to meet deadlines
•   Should possess excellent management, monitoring and evaluation skills
•   Must have proactive attitude: willingness and ability to take initiative
•   Ability to recognize and analyze problems, and develop solutions to them
•   Age limit (40 years and above)
