The Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana, a member of the worldwide ARK German Chamber Network is offering the post of a Marketing Officer (M/F)

This position is on contract basis for a year with an option for extension

Job Description:

•   The Marketing Officer's role focuses on arranging trade missions from Ghana to Germany and vice versa as well as preparing business trips for German companies coming to Ghana and selecting counterparts in Ghana for them.
•   Furthermore arranging events such as conferences and assisting the Delegate in possible projects and planning of annual West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference (WACEE).
•   The Candidate should be able to manage assignments across a wide range of industries and technologies. He/She will offer and implement the standard services to our clients.

Responsibilities may include:

•   Preparation of the Conference Programme for West African Clean Energy & Environment Exhibition & Conference
•   Research assistance to projects of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy
•   Research and assistance for Trade Missions to Ghana and Germany
•   Establishing of local German-Ghanaian groups for knowledge exchange
•   Implementation of DE International standard services
•   Updating ARK Ghana and WACEE Website
•   Preparation of AHK Ghana and Premium Partners Newsflash

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of Business Administration or Marketing
•   3 to 5 years work experience
•   please provide us with relevant projects you worked on
•   Fluency in written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an added advantage
•   Strong market research skills
•   Good customer services kills as well as a solid understanding of the Ghanaian and German business cultures
•   Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
•   Self-motivated, highly dedicated, with strong networking skills
