Interface/Web Designer
A key role in developing CSS, XHTML, HTML & JavaScript solutions.

•  You get to design cool stuff for Android and Web. Ability to work fast, attention to detail and high quality output are a must.
•  You should be looking for a fun, high pressure environment which is very iterative -- where imagination & usability skills are rewarded. Illustrator and Photoshop a plus. Y
•  You must be able to contribute to design and usability debates, expressing your thoughts, experiences and opinions in a clear manner to an audience.

Esoko’s Interface and web designers design delightful, polished products that excite users. As part of a dynamic and vibrant  Product & Product Design teams you will be required  to innovate and develop web & mobile interfaces that meet current industry standards.

The successful applicant should demonstrate a solid understanding of HTML, XHTML & CSS and show a genuine interest in web applications. Functional knowledge of JavaScript is a distinct advantage. Finally, the successful applicant should have and a great eye for design and detail.

Job Specifications

•  To create web pages and elements using HTML, XHTML & CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript is distinct advantage
•  To convert specifications and designs supplied in wireframe and mock-ups
•  To work with Senior Designers and Product Team to develop interfaces
•  To liaise with Engineering Team to ensure that styles are appropriately used and conform to technical restraints
•  To work with the user interface team in exploring different methods of enhancing how user interface is structured with HTML/CSS elements

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specifications

•  Minimum qualification  BSc Computer Science or a certification in a related field
•  A minimum of  3-5  years’ work experience using  HTML, JavaScript and CSS in a professional environment
•  Proven ability to work FAST  and on multiple projects with varied deadlines
•  Demonstrate a good aesthetic sense and passion for design
•  Transform wireframes and verbal concepts into working prototypes
