Our company, formed by nationals and international group of investors committed to operate and maintain power plants sustaining high standards of environmental control, safety and reliability, is seeking for a power plant project in Kpone-Tema area, to recruit individuals that wants to grow professionally and with the requisites qualifications and experience for the following position: Field Operator

Summary Job Responsibilities:

•   Adhere to plant operational policies and procedures for production goal achievement and handle work safety
•   Operate power plant equipment (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, High and low pressure team systems, Air compressor Heat Recovery steam generators, feed water pumps, water treatment plant equipment as clarifiers, dual media filters, chemical closing units, reverse osmosis, etc) conduct regular rounds to check equipment and machinery operating conditions and reading
•   Take necessary actions to ensure safe operation dring abnormal emergency conditions
•   Perform permit to work activities such risk analysis equipment isolation, de-energisation, lock out/Tag out on operating systems
•   Monitor and record operational data as instructed by the shift leader or control room operator as well as perform routine troubleshooting and diagnostic procedure of equipment

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND or Undergraduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with (3) three or more years of experience in the field
•   Report to shift supervisor
