Job Vacancy For General Manager (Volta Region)



A new rural bank located in the Volta Region is seeking to recruit goal oriented and highly motivated professional staff to fill the following position: General Manager

Job Purpose

•   Directs and coordinates all operational functions of the Bank to ensure that the vision and mission of Board of Directors and shareholders are realized

Duties and Responsibilities

•   The general manager is responsible to the Board of Directors and reports to the latter about the performance of the Bank
•   Perform regular administration and management activities of the Bank
•   Organise the internal operations of the Bank
•   Prepare and submit annual reports, financial statement, annual budgets, work programmes etc. to the Board of Directors
•   Execute the business and budget approved by the Board of Directors
•   Perform any other duties that will promote the interest of the Bank

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting or social sciences
•   Good knowledge of commercial and or rural banking
•   Good communication and interpersonal skills
•   Excellent IT skills related to the Banking industry
•   Considerable working experience in the banking sector
