Main Duties

•  Provide assistance to students, faculty and staff with technical issues over the phone and/or in person;
•  Maintain, administer and resolve network related issues;
•  Provide input on the purchase of computers and related technologies within budget guidelines;
•  Assist in undertaking maintenance including backing up files and performing installations on a routine basis;

Qualification Required & Experience

Qualifications & Skills
Required:

•  Bachelor degree or diploma in Information Technology or related field;
•  Experience in hardware and software configuration;
•  Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Windows Desktop Management and Windows Networking will be a plus;
•  Demonstrated ability in teaching basic computer usage applications such as Word, Excel , and PowerPoint;
•  Excellent customer service skills;
•  The ability to prioritize and handle multiple problems;

Preferred:

Prior experience in a university or customer-focused environment will be an advantage;
