Job Vacancy For Finance Manager



One of Africa’s leading Communication consulting firms in Accra requires a qualified person to fill the position of Finance Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Finance & Accounting

•   Develop and implement a comprehensive Finance and Accounting systems for the Group.
•   Evolve and implement policies to direct the work of the Finance and Accounting function at the Group and subsidiary level.
•   Provide overall control of all financial transactions and accounting matters at the Group level. Key among these are Quarterly and annual financial reports with recommendations for business growth.
•   Direct all finance related activities of the subsidiaries.
•   Coordinate the annual audit for the subsidiaries and the Group.
•   Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
•   Develop financial proposals for submission to clients.
•   Collaborate with Business Development in business growth strategies development and implementation
•   Coordinate with all heads of department to promote and sustain corporate profitability
•   Advise management and staff on prudent financial management practices
•   Undertake Finance & Accounting related training for both finance and non- finance staff
•   Manage relationships with the Group legal advisors

Qualification Required & Experience

•   2nd degree in Finance / Accounting or Membership of a Professional Accountancy body – ACCA / ICAG
•   Extensive knowledge and experience in Public and Private sector accounting practices.
•   Knowledge of financial management practices in Ghana as well as for Development/ Donor agencies.
•   At least 5 - 10 years post-qualification experience
•   Report writing, facilitation, presentation skills are critical
•   Ability to oversee entire Finance and Accounting function of the Group.
•   Audit experience is necessary.
•   Experience in working in a consulting environment will be an advantage
