The Security & Assurance Services Department of the Ghana International School is seeking to engage the services of experienced and self-motivated individuals to occupy the following position:

Job Summary

•   The appointee will be expected to use his/her knowledge and experienced in combating crime by guarding, patrolling and protecting School property, personnel and information.
•   He/She will also ensure that all CCTV and Burglary alarm monitoring and surveillance requirements of the the Primary & Secondary School and its sensitive immediate environs are met in an efficient and professional manner and also ensure personal safety and environment assurance as well as that of others.

Duties:

•   Protect school assets through access control, searching, guarding, and observation.
•   Execute daily routine work according to policies and procedures within prescribed guidelines.
•   Surveillance of security related activities.
•   Respond to VMD and alarm triggers from CCTV and burglary alarm systems respectively.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Senior Secondary School Certificate or GCE Ordinary level Certificate
•   At least three (3) years progressive working experience in similar position or as a Control Room Operator (CRO).
•   At least two (2) years experience as a guard
•   Must be a computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•   Must have undergone the SAMAE training or its equivalent.
•   Well developed oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and levels
