The Diocesan Health Service (DHS) of the Catholic Diocese of Koforidua within the National Catholic Health Service (NCHS) and the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG) networks currently invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for permanent appointment as scheduled below:

•   Position: Medical Officers
•   Number of Vacancies:    Two (2)
•   Immediate Duty Posts: Odumase-Krobo (One (1) and Akim-Swedru (near Akim-Oda), both in the Eastern Region

Major Responsibilities/Duties/Expectations

•   Ensures the provision of patient care in line with professional standards that are closely informed by Catholic Code of Ethics.
•   The applicant should also be willing to attend to both emergency medical and surgical cases in the Hospital
•   He or She should also be willing serve as a management member if the need arises
•   He or She should be a good team player

Qualification Required & Experience

•   MBChB
•   Should have at least completed his or her second year housemanship and duly certified by the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana (MDCG)
•   Should be currently drawing salary through the Controller and Accountant Generals’ Department (CAGD),Ghana
