Job Description

•   Ensuring that services and product lines that falls under the brand domain resonate with current potential customers/social drive members and trends.
•   The Branch manager serves as the focal point for developing, implementing and executing social marketing initiatives and activities for the specific brand.
•   These initiatives and activities include campaigns (print, web, social media, broadcast, community mobilization. etc.), events, corporate responsibility programs and sponsorship.
•   Report to Director, Department of Community Development- Ministry of local Government and Rural Development.

Duties and responsibilities are:

•   Continuously monitoring the identified target groups at national and local level, trends and concurrent initiatives, regularly meeting with institutional and private partners and senior management and overseeing the secretariat team are some of the brand manager's main responsibilities.
•   Design, implement and monitoring a brand positioning strategy
•   Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to match up to
•   Translate brand strategies into brand plans
•   Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to "take action"
•   Establish and manage strategic partnership
•   Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building processes for partners and social drive's members
•   Monitor branded products distribution and consumer reactions
•   Measure and report performance of all Social marketing activities against goals (Return of Investment - ROI)
•   Monitor social trend, related researches and parallel initiatives to identify colleges and opportunities
•   Budget management
•   Contribute to securing funding from private and institutional sector
•   Establish performances specification, costs and parameters
•   Oversee events conceptualization and Implementation
•   Represent the brand with private sector and institutions
•   Anticipate bottlenecks
•   Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
•   Overview the teamwork including coaching them and get the best from everyone
•   Writing and Presenting reports

Remuneration: Based on experience

Qualification Required & Experience

•   BSc/MSc degree in marketing or a related field
•   At least eight years of working experience in related field
•   Previous experiences working with Ghanaian and international institutions
•   Expert knowledge about marketing and social marketing related subjects (advertising, market research, consumer behavior, marketing analytics, social norms, behavioral change)
•   Excellent understanding of the full marketing and social marketing mix
•   Ability to think creatively and innovatively
•   Strong research and analytical skills and data-driven thinking
•   Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills also in English
•   Budget management skills and proficiency
•   Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in marketing, social marketing, graphic design, web design, production, etc.
•   A willingness to listen
•   Drive for results and leaders hips skills
•   Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
•   Proven ability to develop brand and marketing and social marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
