A new life insurance company in Accra has vacancy for the following senior position: Head of Sales and Distribution (Code: HSD/04)

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

•   Advise Management on policies and programmes to be instituted for accelerated expansion/ growth of the company’s business
•   Institute an effective sales planning, promotion, reporting and control systems to maintain consistent performance of the company
•   Coordinate, monitor, and review the performance of Sales Officers and Agents to ensure the achievement of corporate performance targets
•   Conduct market research to determine the viability of company products and services, and advise on opportunities, threats and weaknesses
•   Submit periodic reports to management and the board for decision-making

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of first degree in Insurance, Marketing or Social Sciences plus a Postgraduate Diploma of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) GH
•   A minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in the insurance industry
•   Good interpersonal and communication skills and good presentation skills are required
