Job Vacancy For Chief Finance Officer
A new life insurance company in Accra has vacancy for the following senior position: Chief Finance Officer (Code: CFO/03)
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
• Document all financial transactions, and prepare financial statements, reports and budgets in conformity with International Financial Reporting Standards and relevant statutes
• Submit financial statements and reports periodically to regulatory agencies, board of directors and management for decision-making
• Manage efficiently the financial of the company, and ensure that all financial obligations of the company are met
• Initiate the development of measures to effectively control cost, and improve financial performance of the company
• Coordinate and assist the External Auditors and Inspectors from National Insurance Commission during their periodic inspections
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of first degree in Accounting / Finance, plus a recognised professional qualification in Accounting such as CA (Chartered Accountants, Ghana), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ACMA (Association of Cost and Management Accountants), ICAEW (Association of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales), CPA (Certified Public Accountants, USA)
• At least five (5) years relevant post qualification experience in the Insurance Industry
• High level of integrity and professionalism are required
