Purpose:
• To assist the Manager, HR and Admin in the effective and efficient running of the HR/Administration Unit.
Assignments and Expectations:
• Provide support to managers/HODs in the resolution of employees personal and job related problems
• Provide technical & administrative support to HR manager in managing employee performance management system and routine interpretation of human resource policies and processes
• Facilitate the processing of payments, allowances and benefits to employees
Requisite Competencies:
Technical
• Good understanding of modern HR management systems
• Ability to design and implement HR systems and strategies
• Ability to source for multiple vendors
• Excellent Negotiation skills
Personality
• Ability to relate effectively with people at all levels
• Assertiveness - ability to articulate views and decisions and stick to them
• Effective listening, oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a high level of flexibility, passion, initiative and innovation
• Critical thinking, customer focused and a high sense of accountability and organisation skills
• Exhibit professional and courteous demeanor in People management/engagements
