Role & Resposibilities:

•   Be the principal contact person for SMT in Tamale;
•   Provide key leadership in resolving problematic machines and machine maintenance, ensuring activities are planned and managed in an efficient manner to avoid excessive downtime and providing an improved performance post repair;
•   Prospection for sales of equipment and trucks
•   Ensure a good interpersonal and customer relationship;
•   Liaise with the National Parts Manager for the supply of parts to customers;
•   Liaise with the Sales Director for sale of equipment and trucks

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering;
•   Must have at least six (6) years post qualification on Maintenance & repairs of  Heavy Earth Moving Equipment experience;
•   Competence in mechanical, hydraulics & electrical troubleshooting;
•   Computer literacy especially with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and the internet;
•   Possession of a valid driving license & demonstrate competent driving skills;
•   Demonstrate an ability to lead, supervise, train, mentor, influence the team;
•   Must have knowledge in the handling of parts;
•   Must have a fair sales background.
