Job Vacancy For Registrar
Pentecost University College is a Christian Faith-based Institution of higher learning accredited by the National Accreditation Board in 2004. It exists to empower students to serve their own generation and posterity with integrity and the fear of God.
The institution currently offers a number of undergraduate and graduate programmes in business administration, computing, theology, nursing and build environment.
The Registrar is the Head of the administrative support services of the University College.
Functions
The functions include:
• Responsible to the Council on matters relating to general administration of the University College
• Ensure the introduction of innovative organizational development and management methods with the aim of improving upon efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the University College
• Maintain relevant University and student records and data
• Ensure that policies of the University College related to personnel records, training, wages and salaries are translated into effective human resource and development management practices
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master's degree in any field of the Social Sciences, Law, Education, Humanities, Administration / Management or any relevant field
• Relevant post-qualification experience of not less than twelve (12) years
• Strong, leadership, managerial and organizational skills
• A deep appreciation of the academic working environment
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• A practicing Christian who MUST subscribe to the University College's statement of faith without reservation
Terms of Appointment
• The appointment is full time and applicant should be able to serve a full term of 4 years before his/her 60th birthday
• Attractive salary and conditions of service are attached to the position
