A reputable pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Eastern Region requires the services of a suitably qualified person for the position of: Credit Control Officer

Job Functions

Under the direction of the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will:

•   Develop and ensure that compliance of the Credit Control Policies of the company
•   Ensure timely payment of due invoices
•   Make follow-ups and periodic visits to customers to pursue over-aged receivables
•   Prepare ageing report on all receiables
•   Monitor customers accounts to identify slow paying customers and make recommendations on future sales
•   Lead and motivate a team of credit control staff

Qualification Required & Experience

•   First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Mathematics and Statistics Master's Degree could be an added advantage
•   Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar or related role in an industrial/manufacturing field. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, highly developed inter-personal and team building experience and computer competencies in MS Office and Accounting software.
