Our client is a reputable company incorporated under the laws of Ghana. As an investment manager of Group of Companies, it has diversified portfolios, with subsidiary companies in construction, real estate, manufacturing and other strategic businesses.

The business is looking to enhance its cadre of senior professionals as follows: Business Development Manager

Role and Responsibilities

•   Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
•   Screen potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities and recommending equity investments
•   Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
•   Examine risks and potentials and estimate partners needs and goals
•   Prepare documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, deeds and leases.
•   Serves as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University degree (Masters in Finance, MBA or other relevant qualification)
•   At least 5 years of experience in business development
•   Ability to write proposals and make presentations
•   Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic development plan
•   Real estate background is a plus
