Working Environment: Office based
Immediate Supervisor: Principal Mineral Titles Officer

Job Purpose:

•   Assist in the management of mineral titles administration.

Duties:

•   Assist in supervising the processing of applications for mineral rights
•   Render advice and assistance to clients and provide an information service to them concerning mineral rights
•   Inspect proposed sites for mineral rights
•   Assist in undertaking occasional field visits
•   Perform any other duties that may be assigned from, time to time

Expected Outputs/Performance Standards:

•   Expected deliverables are achieved
•   Reports, documents and other correspondence meet quality standards are submitted timeously.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Candidates for the post of Senior Mineral Titles Officer must possess a second degree in Geosciences from a recognized university.
•   Must possess at least 4 years, second degree, post qualification and professional experience in the minerals and mining industry. Geographic Information System (GlS) experience is an advantage.
