Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont's Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role  : Mine Captains

Qualification Required & Experience

As an experienced underground Mine Captain you will be responsible for the following:

•   Actively show leadership and management in all aspects of underground mining including safety, development, production and ventilation of the mine.
•   You abide by the dictates of the Ghanaian Mining and Explosives Acts and Regulations.
•   All employees under your charge work in accordance with the Mining and Explosives Acts and Regulations.
•   Any non-compliance is recorded and brought to the attention of senior site management immediately.

Location: Ahafo
