Due to the award of a mine development contract at Ahafo for the Subika Underground Mine and subject to Newmont's Board final approval, AUMS is seeking expressions of interest for up-coming work in Ghana from suitably qualified applicants to fill the following role : Operator Trainers

Qualification Required & Experience

Require Ex-frontline jumbo operators wanting to take on a training specific role which will include:

•   Being willing and able to train personnel to a high standard in ground support installation and boring faces to plan, on grade, on line and within dimensions.
•   Ensuring trainees are able to correctly assess ground conditions and install support appropriately.
•   Ensuring trainees understand correct mining principals and minimisation of wastage.
•   Ensuring trainees are properly maintaining the jumbo (greasing, keeping hose wrap tight etc.) and recording and reporting faults.

Location: Ahafo
