Job Vacancy For Principal Human Resource Manager
A public service organisation in Ghana, is looking for a highly qualified and motivated person for the position of: Principal Human Resource Manager
Role Summary
• The purpose of this role is to provide technical and operational leadership for the management of Human Resources of the organisation
Role Accountabilities
The ideal candidate will:
• Design draft Human Resource policies and strategies for approval by the organisation
• Oversee the implementation of Human Resource policies, programmes and guidelines of the organisation
• Ensure the development and update of accurate records on staff of the organisation
• Oversee the recruitment, compensation, posting, promotions, transfers, fringe benefits and occupational safety of staff of the organisation
• Provide input for the preparation of annual budget of the organisation
• Set targets, supervises and appraises the performance of the work of subordinate staff
• Ensure the preparation of quatertly, annually and other periodic reports on the Human Resouce management of the organisation
• Coordinate the identification and organisation of training programmes for the staff of the organisation
Qualification Required & Experience
Person Specifications
• A minimum of a master's degree in Human Resources management or relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution
• A minimum of 7 years relevant work experience, 3 years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable institution
• Must be a member of the institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP)
• Must pass a competitive interview conducted in collaboration with the Public Services Commission
