A reputable private company is seeking to employ experienced self-motivated professionals to fill the following vacancy: Transport Officer

Key Responsibilities

•   Maintaining standardized policies and procedures of operations across all business units and locations to meet business requirements
•   Performing regular transport audits to ensure compliance and provide month end/qauterly reports
•   Developing and leading a cohesive team capable of planning and executing day-to-day activities in a safe, professional, efficient and cost effective manner
•   Ensure that vehicle maintenance agreements are adhered to
•   Prepare operational cost of vehicles
•   Be responsible for disposal of over-aged vehicles
•   Prepare preventive plans and schedule the maintenance activities of vehicles

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess a minimum of an HND in Automobile Engineering with certification in Transport logistics from a recognized institution
•   Must possess a minimum of 10 years of working experience in a renowned organization
•   Have practical experience as a supervisor

Knowledge, skills and Abilities

•   Have excellent written and communication skills
•   Be proficient in records management
•   Be computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
