Job Vacancy For Hub Manager
SOS Children's Villages Ghana is part of a global humanitarian organisation dedicated to providing family-based care (FBC) for children without parental care
We also provide social services for families at risk through our family strengthening programme (FSP). Currently, we have four villages in operation in Tema, Asiakwa, Kumasi & Tamale
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates on our NO Business As Usual Project for the position of: Hub Manager
Qualification Required & Experience
The ideal candidate should:
• Hold a first degree in statistics, computer science or any other relevant degree. 2nd degree is an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general management and supervision of the use of ICT Hub preferably with a keen experience and interest in the ICT industry
• Have experience working on youth employability related projects and community-based organisation
• Have passion for working with youth and have understanding of the current situation for young people
• Have knowledge of local youth employment opportunities and challenges
• Have good interpersonal, networking, representation and negotiation skills
• Have a strong verbal and writing skills required for extensive report writing
• Have financial management acumen, keeping budgets managing expenses and cash handling experience
• Have good people management skills
• Have proven experience in leading and managing people and projects
• Have strong communications skills required for extensive report and proposal writing
• Have advance experience and demonstrated skill with Microsoft Office suite, internet and social media platform management
• Be a motivated self-starter with initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm
• Be a strategic thinker combined with practical "can do" attitude with the ability to inspire others, especially the youth
• Possess strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Possess strong supervisory, organisational and time management skills with precision to meet deadlines
• Be a team player with strong collaborative and team building skills
• Be ready to work long hours and over the written English and at least 1 Ghanaian language preferably (Twi)
