Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Overall fleet management and availability control
•  Control of transporters and their staff
•  Cost monitoring and control
•  Ability to match sudden increase in volumes/sales with vehicles
•  Improvement planning and implementation of transport strategy
•  Management and development of transport team and drivers
•  Ensure on-time delivery of all orders
•  Ensure HSE compliance
•  Deliver operational results and solving operational issues

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Relevant University Degree with at least 6 years experience in transport operations
•  Experience in managing a fleet of heavy duty commercial vehicles including third party transport providers
•  Ability to lead and develop a team and ensure the objectives set are met
•  High numeracy and financial management skills
