Our client, a major International Construction firm is currently doing some work in Accra and looking to hire a qualified

Purchase Administrative Assistant to work on its project.

Role Profile

Will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and administration of relevant purchase order systems, inventory systems and
databases and the effective control of consignment stock.

Duties

• Will ensure compliance procedures are adhered to.
• Responsible for purchase administration and order processing using ERP systems.
• Expediting materials from suppliers and ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist in project costing reports.
• Liaise with Account Department on payment matters.
• Keeping records of purchases and other relevant documentation.

Education

Educated to the Degree Level ( Purchasing and Supply, Business Admin etc.)

Experience

3years plus experience in purchase department (typing and controlling purchase orders, supplier communication,…).

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Be very organized
• IT Literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must be very proactive and have an ability to self-prioritise tasks.
• Will display Health and Safety awareness in your work
• Be able to work with minimum supervision and work to tight deadlines.
