A Multi-National Gold Mining company operating in Ghana is looking for Ghanaian nationals with the requisite qualifications to apply for the following position: Shotcrete Operator

Duties & Responsibilities

•   Ensure relevant safety, mining and other statutory codes and regulations remain in full compliance
•   Operate the shotcrete machine for mine development according to quality specifications safely and efficiently
•   Project / manage existing mine shotcreting solutions and make the necessary recommendations for continuous improvement
•   Be the go-to expert in ine shotcreting systems and methodologies
•   Provide reliable and accurate operational knowledge and practical application to minimize down time and loss of production
•   Perform other duties as may be reasonably assigned by your supervisor

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess at least MSLC/SHS Certificate or its equivalent from a recognise institution
•   Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years underground mining experience in trackless mining using shotcrete mixes, AGI Truck and Batching Plant Operations
•   Must be able to read and understand designed ground support plans, detailed survey prints and layouts
•   Holder of Mine Rescue and valid first aid certificates will be an added advantage
•   Must have thorough understanding of underground mining operations, and solid safety performance at the personal and professional level
•   Must possess a valid Ghanaians Driver's license with defensive driving skills on surface and underground
