The company is looking for a dynamic and results oriented individual to make significant contribution to improving its work processes in Daily Graphic, Newspapers Department.

The position of Deputy News Editors is in the management group and the post holder will report to the News Editors, Daily Graphic.

Key Accountabilities:

. Assist Editorial in providing coverage for all news across the country and beyond.
. Assist with editing of all stories on the News Desk
. Constantly recommended efficient ways of presenting reader friendly stories
. Assist with supervision of the performance of all reporters
. Establish and maintain good working relationships with Editors of all the weekly newspapers to facilitate the strategic goals of the company of producing newspapers of choice are met.

. Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

. Supervisory skills

. Strong computer literacy skills
. Interpersonal and creative thinking skills

Qualification / Experience

Minimum qualification of Diploma or equivalent from recognized / accredited institution in Journalism or Mass Communication plus a minimum of six (6) years post qualification working experience

OR

Degree in Journalism or Mass Communication plus a minimum of four (4)  years working experience member of Ghana Journalists Association
