Key Duties and Responsibilities

•   Responsible for a variety of routine and non routine laboratory operations. Duties include measurements, performing several routine quantitative and qualitative chemical analytical tests according to procedures.
•   Monitor/assess performance of equipment and systems, and recommend for improvement measures or take corrective action.
•   Responsible for the safe transfer abd truck loading of all liquids produced and the effective monitoring and management of tank levels to ensure continous operation of the facility
•   Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
•   Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of plant utilities machinery and equipment, including troublehsooting of equipment failures, documenting repairs, assisting in performing other tasks that required by the supervisor
•   All duties are to be performed in accordance with the Company’s Environmental, Health and Safety Guidelines.
•   Perform field and flow transmitters, actuators and valves.
•   Install, repair and maintain instrument equipment such as pressure transmitters and switches, level transmitters and switches temperature and flow transmitters, actuators and valves
•   Fabricate and erect/assemble metal structures.
•   Assist with the maintenance of low voltage power distribution system components, MCC, VFDs
•   Operate fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, radial drill, flame cutters etc
•   Select the appropriate tools, machines and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND or equivalent in Chemical/Mechanical/Petroleum/Electrical Engineering.
•   HND Laboratory Technology
•   EET/MET Part i. ii. Iii.
•   Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
•   Welding and fabrication work advanced certificate.

Skills & Other

•   Ability to read various types of engineering drawings and schematic
•   Good verbal, written and oral communication skills
•   Sound knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards
•   Knowledge in HSE Management system for oil and gas industries
•   Able to work effectively as part of a team
•   Ability to work on the job with little or no supervision
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•   Medically fit for the position
•   Good analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills
•   Avalid driver's license with acceptable driving record will be an advantage
