An organisation is looking for experienced Programme Managers to organise and coordinate large field-based projects in the following areas:

Job Summary

The Programme Manager shall oversee the coordination and administration of all aspects of the specific programme area including planning, organising and controlling programme activities.S/He will report to the Director of Department.

Specific Responsibilities include not limited to:

•   Supervise the project team by planning and monitoring work calender and project budgets
•   Manage programme finances, approval requirements, track incoming costs, future expenditures and preparation of financial reports
•   Coordinate logistics for team members and stakeholders
•   Working closely with the Director of Development on writing and editing of contract deliverables including but not limited to weekly, quarterly and annual reports
•   Track and ensure deliverable requirements move forward in a timely, cost effective manner

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
•   Minimum Bachelor Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences or related field
•   Familiarity with Project Management/Monitoring and Evaluation tools in a strong advantage
•   Ability to work and travel to multi-cultural environments and build effective working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues
•   Strong passion for community development work
•   Attention to detail and organisational skills required
•   Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and excellent budgeting skills required
