The University of Cape Coast invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced and competent individuals for the position of Director, Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance which will become vacant on 1st August, 2017.
Key Responsibilities
• The Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance shall be responsible for coordinating the planning and monitoring of academic programmes in the University.
• He/She shall also spearhead the university wide quality assurance system including all sections and the various mechanisms designed to maintain high performance standards.
• He/She shall report to the Vice-Chancellor.
Tenure of Office
• The Director (DAPQA) shall hold office for a period of four years and shall be eligible, upon completion, for reappointment for second consecutive term only.
• Applicants should be able to complete the first term of four years before reaching the retirement age of sixty (60) years.
Conditions of Service

Qualifications Required & Experience
Applicants must:
• Be internationally acclaimed scholar of a professorial rank.
• Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline
• Have considerable teaching, research and administrative experience in a university or analogous institution
• Be well grounded in the principles of quality assurance and quality improvement
