A reputable non-bank financial institution seeks the services of dedicated persons to fill the following position: Recovery Officer

Job Summary

• The role is responsible for ensuring that appropriate telephone and/ or personal contact is made at the earliest possible stage on written off accounts, in accordance with the recoveries timetable, as well as embarking on an exercise to recover accounts that have been written off.

Technical skills

• Ability to establish daily and monthly priorities and activities and manage own dairy
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor, own and handle heavy workload
• Ability to interpret documents and understand administration procedures
• Abilitty to monitor and assess achievements against performance targets and quality standards
• Must be able to make sound judgements with a commercial bias
• Must possess strong planning and organization skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
• High sense of integrity

Qualification Required & Experience

• A good Bachelor's degree from a recognised University
• 3 years experience in the relevant field
• Excellent analytical skills and appreciation of ICT (especially, MS Excel).
