Job Vacancy For Facilities Manager
A non-government, not-for-profit, organization established to preserve and conserve, cultural and historic heritage in the central region of Ghana.
General Purpose
• Performs professional duties in supervising, coordinating, and managing the operations of the visitor's centre of a park.
Duties
• Oversees the development, maintenance and management of all facilities of the visitor's centre
• Ensures all policies and procedures, of the facility are enforced
• Monitors payment of admission and other fees
• Resolves concerns and conflicts that may arise
• Ensures that services are provided in a professional and safe manner
• Oversees all amusement products of the organisation located at and overall security of the park
• Ensures visitors and staff safety
Qualification Required & Experience
• A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3 years in management, in the recreation/hospitality sector OR any equivalent combination of education and experience
Requirements
• Must be at least 30 years of age
• Must pass a Background/Criminal Investigation check
• Must possess a valid Driver's License
• Must have or be able to obtain, Red Cross First Aid and CPR certifications within 6 months of hire
• Must be willing and available to work early hours (6am), through to early evening (6pm), some weekends and most public holidays
Work Environment
• Eco-friendly environment: while performing the duties of this job, the empoyee is occasionally exposed to wet and dry conditions and on rare occassions, fumes, toxic or caustuc chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet while in the office and moderately active when in the facility.
