Job Vacancy For Executive Assistant
A new media network with interest in print, radio and television is seeking to recruit a Executive Assistant.
The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for managing the Executive Directors office and providing the necessary support for efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
The EA will be working closely with other members of the team and should be capable of managing some parts of the human resource processes and must possess some skills in events management and promotions
As the organisation grows the incumbent will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of administrative and management policies for the organization
The Executive Assistant will work closely with the existing team and participate creatively and cooperatively in advancing the overall purpose and vision of the organization
Responsibilities include:
• Manage the Executive Directors office
• Assist the Executive Director in running an efficient and effective itinerary
• Work closely with other Directors and managers in ensuring a coordinated office work environment
• Perform human capital, administrative and office functions
• Carry out research as needed by the Executive Director
• Preparing business proposals
• Assist in the conceptualizing and management of events and play a proactive role in presentations / sponsorships acquisition
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum qualification of a degree in any field
• At least 1 year experience in an administrative or marketing environment
• Excellent command over the English language. Both oral and written
• High level of self-belief and confidence
• Excellent computer and presentations skills
• Ambitious, goal oriented and independent minded
• Presentable
