A non-bank financial institution located in Accra is expanding to the ASHANTI REGION and have the following positions vacant: Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION

• The accountant shall be responsible for the preparation of periodic financial reports
• He shall be advisor to Management on finance and accounting related issues
• He shall be reporting to bank of Ghana periodically
• Shall work with other stakeholders for the continues and successfully running of the company
• Preparing, filing and payment due on statutory returns (SSNIT,PAYE,CORPORATE TAX, withholding tax)
• Lead a team to complete the implementation of Banking software-PROVISO
• Working with internal and external auditors to strengthen internal controls
• Payment processing
• Maintenance of fixed Asset Register
• Employee Benefit administration
• Database administration with support from IT

Qualification Required & Experience

REQUIREMENT:

• BSc. Accounting from a recognized university
• Chartered Accountant and a member of any of the professional bodies such as ICA, ACCA, CIMA
• Very good knowledge in Microsoft office package such as excel, word, power-point etc
• Very good knowledge of the IFRS is a must
• Knowledge of PROVISO banking Software shall be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years experience in the related field
