Job Vacancy For Training Officer
Our organization is an Association of Non-Bank Financial institutions (NBFIs) with over 300 member companies. We require a proactive, self-motivated and passionate individual on our team to fill the position of Member Development Manager. The person will be based in Accra and report directly to the Executive Secretary.
Job Purpose
The Training Officer has the overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the Association's Training centre operating strategy and for building strong, effective and profitable, as well as self-sustaining centre of excellence for microfinance development. The Officer is charged with developing systems that deliver high-quality results in a cost-effective and timely fashion.
Job Responsibilities
• Management of the Association's Training centre
• Coordinate the design and development of system for evaluating the training needs of members and the microfinance sector
• Provide high impact, cost-effective capacity-building programmes
• Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the Association's Training Centre programmes
• Promote the association's training centre programmes and activities
• Facilitate the establishment of partnership with both local and international training institutions and individual trainers to run training programmes that will be beneficial to members
Qualification Required & Experience
Key Requirements
• A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any related field, post graduate qualification in training or capacity building is an advantage
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Training and Assessment
• Excellent marketing and promotional skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of Office Administration and Management
• Good knowledge of logistics coordination and procurement
• Good organization and planning skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure and tight timelines
• Team player with a high sense of commitment
• Must have strong computer skills and be able to use information systems software
• Must have a valid Ghanaian Driving License, and be able and willing to travel
