Job Vacancy For Principal Assistant Registrar



A public Service Organisation, established by law and committed to employment equity, is inviting applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians to fill the following vacancy: Principal Assistant Registrar

Functions

• Provide training and capacity building of registered architects/draughtsmen/technicians on new and modern architectural practices
• Formulates educational curricula that best fits the architectural practices in consultation with tuition providers
• Makes inputs in the development of resource mobilization strategies for programmes and projects of the department
• Facilitates the registration of Architects/Draughtsmen/Technicians and the publication of such registers
• Develops systems to generate data on all architects

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of PG Dip in Architecture from an accredited tertiary institution
• A master's degree will be an advantage
• A postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration and/or Management
• A qualified and registered architect with a minimum of 7 years post qualification relevant working experience, 2 years of which should be in a senior management position
• Evidence of participation in continuing professional development programmes organized by the ARC/GIA and relevant bodies
• Must pass a competitive selection interview conducted by the council in consultation with the Public Services Commission
