Job Vacancy For Assistant Law Reporter
The Council for Law Reporting, an agency under the the Ministry of Justice is looking for qualified personnel to fill the following position: Assistant Law Reporter
Duties and Responsibilities
• Determines the reportability of judgments, rulings and opinions from the superior courts
• Edits and prepares head notes of selected judgments of the Superior court for publication in the Ghana Law Reports
• Screen, reviews and edits articles, critiques and comments of judgnebts abd legislations for publication in the review of Ghana Law. Compiles statutory updates, legal articles and personal injury awards for publication in the above mentioned journal
• Provides inputs for the formulation and implementation of editorial policies and guidelines for the council's publications
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must have a Degree in Law (LLB/BA Law)
• Applicant must have been called to the Ghana Bar for at least one year
• Must be computer literate
