Job Vacancy For Assistant Manager, Broker Dealers and Advisors
The Securities and Exchange Commission invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians who are goal oriented results driven with exceptional leadership qualities and enthusiasm for appointment into the position of: Assistant Manager, Broker Dealers and Advisors
Job Purpose
• To assist with the operations of the Broker-Dealers and Advisers Department
Duties and Responsibilities
The applicant will report to the Head, Broker-Dealers and Advisors and will assist with
• Onsite and off-site inspections and reports of market operators
• Analyze financial and cocmpliance reports of the market operations
• Receipt and review of of monthly, quarterly and annual returns
• Process license applications
• Ensure compliance of market operators with statutory returns, rules, regulations and the Securities industry Act, 2016 (Act 929)
Qualification Required & Experience
• BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification
• CA/ACCA, CIMA
• MBA Accounting/Finance will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in securities market operation is desirable
• A minimum of 4 years post qualification experience
Competencies and skills
• Knowledge and experience in securities market operations
• Must be computer literate
