Job Vacancy For Head of Quality Assurance Monitoring Department
Key Responsibilities
The Head of QAM's key responsibilities are:
• To design a quality assurance monitoring scheme in line with IFAC SMO I,
• To build a strong quality assurance team with the requisite technical competencies to carry out quality assurance review for all audit firms in Ghana.
• To lead the quality assurance monitoring team to conduct quality reviews
• To assist ICAG council categorise the audit firms on the basis of technical competencies
• To provide periodic reports on quality assurance monitoring system to council of ICAG
• To advise ICAG Council on how to improve the qaulity assurance monitoring scheme
• To provide training and education of quality assurance review to audit practitioners
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must be a member of ICAG
• A licensed member with not less than 15 years in audit practice of which at least 5 years has been in an executive position
• Proven competency and moral uprightness
• Must have keen interest, genuine passion and personal commitment to promote ICAG's mission
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Proven competency and moral uprightness
Terms of Appointment
• The appointment, which is full term, shall be 4 years in the first instance and may be subject for renewal for another term of 4 years or part thereof
