Job Purpose

• To run the Business Unit / Branch as a Profit Center

Job Responsibilities

As the Business Head of the Marketing team / Branch, the candidate is required to:

• Develop business in a defined market to meet periodic budget targets
• Organise and work as the leader of the team to achieve branch targets
• Achieve the profitability of the branch
• Ensure that the loan porfolio is run according to the Bank's laid down standards
• Acquisition of new business as well as deepening existing customer relationships through effective and efficient customer liaisons
• Effective liability and asset generation
• Maintaining required service standards and operational efficiency
• Balance sheet management

Qualification Required & Experience

• A bachelor's degree from a reputable university
• A professional qualifications/post graduate degrees will be an advantage
• At least 5 years relevant experience in a reputable financial institution in Ghana
• A good working knowledge of the Greater Accra market and about the last 3 years spent in a marketing/relationship management position
• Managed a team of a least 3 members successfully by achieving set periodic financial targets
• Knowledge of balance sheet management and profit & loss sheet
