A reputable Bank in the Ashanti Region invites applications form suitably qualified applicants for the position of: Information Systems Auditor

Job Purpose

• Assist in carrying out information systems audit of the Bank in accordance with the approved Internal Audit Plan

Key Responsibilities

• Reports to the Head of Audit
• Ensure compliance with Information Systems Policies, Standards, systems and other applicable industry accepted computing practices
• Conduct follow-up of audit work undertaken on departments and branches
• Develop and communicate clearly the information systems audit plan and ensure full achievement of it
• Carry out audits of information systems, systems infrastructure and controls of the Bank
• Perform vulnerability assessment using vulnerability assessment tools
• Undertake on-site inspection of branches in accordance with approved inspection plan
• Investigate all forms of malpractices and frauds within the Bank
• Carry out assignments that will be authorized by the board/management
• Ascertain the extent of compliance with the Banking Act, 2016 (Act 930) as amended and the ARB Apex Bank regulations 2006 (L.I 1825) by RCBs
• Report findings and recommendations in inspection to the Head of Audit
• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Audit

Qualification Required & Experience

• A first Degree or HND in Computer Science with at least 3 years post qualification experience in a similar position and any relevant professional qualification in information systems would be an advantage

Required Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge and experience in auditing standards and regulations
• Abreast with current ICT platforms and security issues
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Analytical, critical and enquiring mind
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Cyber Security Compliance
