An infrastructure developer urgently requires the services of a Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) for immediate employment on a Building Project Full-time contract - 1 year duration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Consultant on site on a Hospital Project as the Mechanical Engineering Project Manager
• Supervise the contractor to adhere to all relevant codes of practice
• Review and amend existing designs

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a BSc, BE or HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification from a recognised institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and supervision of Mechanical HVAC, Central Air-conditioning Systems on buildings
• Experience in working in an Electro-Mechanical MEP Engineering Consulting firm or a construction site
• Ability to use relevant AutoCAD application software and Manual calculations to design and process Mechanical drawings
• Knowledge of External Plumbing and Drainage works, invert levels Pipe laying and chambers
• Knowledge of relevant standards and codes with regard to Building Services (Mechanical), testing and commissioning of an entire Mechanical system of a multi-storey building
